Growth Mindset
No, I have never heard of Carol Dweck or about fixed-growth mindset until this class. In terms of school work, I am more around fixed mindset. Yes, I do want to learn, but my focus always stays on earning good grades. To me getting good grade determines ones smartness. Although, in terms of life, I want to learn more and more from my past experiences and from other's experiences. Yes, I would love to learn more about growth mindset because that is something which leads you to a positive direction. One tip to success in life is, stay focused. As long as you stay focused on your goals, life should be pretty smooth.

We are similar in our mindsets. I really stress over getting good grades. If you understand the assignment and work hard, you can get a good grade. I like that you not only believe in learning from your own past but others' as well. I think that is really important! Good luck on the rest of your semester!

ReplyDeleteI totally agree on you when you said the staying focused will lead to a successful life. We have to stay focused on our dreams and goals. It is us who is responsible for our life and we have to stay focused to accomplish it. I also feel that we should always try to be positive, because as they say there is two sides of a coin. Every situation has something good in it and I think being positive is a key to stay focused.
